DOLORAN ISLES Wiki

Welcome to the Wilds![]

"...and the mists parted, and I was sailing through a strange strait; quiet and then chaotic, urban and then untamed; as if my surroundings were suddenly defined by all their contradictions, and in that paradox somehow found a taut stability." - Z. Lucid, 'On the Dolorans Vol I'

The Doloran Isles are wild power given form; they are three ancient continents created by twelve mortal mages of Godly ambition. Once a Pangaea Super-Continent, the Isles were shattered into three following a rather heated debate over creative differences.

Now the three Isles, Do, Lo, and Ran (named for which Major God claimed each Isle following The Shattering), are each comprised of myriad kingdoms, cities and wildernesses. The three isles, much like their Gods, are commonly assosciated with Order (Do, after Doro), Magic (Lo, after Lora) and Chaos (Ran, after Rannock).

The Three Continents[]

  • The Isle of Do - The westernmost continent; fertile and largest among the three continents. Claimed by the God Doro during the events of The Shattering.
  • The Isle of Lo - The central continent; filled with strange and exotic creatures and powerful magical places, largely ruled by the Elven Triumvirate of L'Oreal. Claimed by the Goddess Lora during the events of The Shattering.
  • The Isle of Ran - The easternmost continent; a jagged series of wastelands and chaotic, mountainous islands. Claimed by the God Rannock during the events of The Shattering.

The Thirteen Gods[]

Main Article: The Religion of the Thirteen[]

The pantheon of the Doloran Isles is made up of Twelve Gods: Three Major Gods (Doro, Lora and Rannock) each oversee three 'disciple' Gods. A ceremonial 'Thirteenth' spot is kept open within the Pantheon to inspire Godly aspirants among their perpetually feuding mortal progeny.

  1. Doro - Lawful God of Order and the sun and stark opponent to Rannock. He rules as a God-King from the Citadel of Dorrocco.
  2. Lora - Goddess of magic and the moon. She stands neutral between Doro and Rannock.
  3. Rannock - God of Chaos and destruction, revels in war and cruelty. Currently trapped underneath the Hellspire after the events of The Shattering.
  4. Sycrecia - Goddess of travel, storms and the sea. Disciple of Doro.
  5. Anubas - God of time, death, entropy and bureaucracy. Disciple of Doro.
  6. Rodia - Goddess of Justice, Mercy, Vengeance. Bastion against the undead. Disciple of Doro.
  7. Brunix - God of Trade and Artistry. Disciple of Lora.
  8. Plugork - God of Health, Life, the Harvest, Healing and general sanitation. Diciple of Lora.
  9. Adrianna - Goddess of the Wilderness, Love, Beauty, and Fertility. Disciple of Lora.
  10. Fingar Gunn - God of Fire, Destiny and Luck. Disciple of Rannock.
  11. Gorgioth - God of Pleasure, Parties, Food, Wine and Lust. Disciple of Rannock.
  12. Excelsior - God of Forbidden Knowledge, Duplicity, Illusion and elaborate handshakes. Disciple of Rannock.
  13. The Thirteenth.
